
CCJHS vs Belton Middle School!
7A: The team came out strong, dominating the first set 25-6 and continuing their momentum to win the second set 25-7
7B: Started off with solid serving but struggled against Belton’s serves. Despite a reset in the second set Belton ultimately came out on top.
8B: Played with great energy, winning the first set 25-17 and securing the victory in the second set 25-22.
8A: It was rewarding to see everything come together for 8A. They took the first set 25-9 and finished strong with a 25-18 win in the second set.





Varsity Boys kicked off their season strong in Salado, finishing 5thwith a score of 356! Cooper Ferrell led the charge, securing 3rd place with a score of 75, while Adrian Dickson- Ramirez came in 5th with a score of 77. Gage Cunningham shot 98, and Deaven Reese came in at 106.




The Vastity Girls kicked off their season with an impressive performance in Salado, finishing in 2nd place with a score of 387! Individual scores included Maggie Crawley with 92, Allison Crawley at 95, Hailee Spicer with 95, Kyleigh Mata at 106, and AJ Brown at 105.

The S C Lee Cougar Cross Country results for Salado. Domonick Stewart placed 10th out of 107 runners in the 7th grade boys division with a time of 13:52. Aliza Cepeda finished 23rd and Aaliah Diaz finished 28th out of 81 runners in the 8th grade girls division with the team finishing in 4th overall and the 8th grade boys finished 3rd as a team overall. Great run, Cougars!

Cross Country competed well this week.! Boys finished 3rd as a team. Boys were led by Carson Darling 4th 16:04, Jeremiah Calderon 5th 16:09. Girls were led by Jenna Chlarson 24:36, and Kyah Strafford 25:27. They trvel to Lake Belton next week.


Volleyball held its annual Military Appreciation night last night vs Temple. Varsity active military dads served as honorary captions: Setu Toala, Kyle McKee, Aaron Simpson, Julian Urquidez were all escorted by their daughters. Colonel Urquidez call the coin flip.
