Veteran's Day Parade House Creek Elementary Honoring those who serve! Parents, grandparents. family members please join us for a Veteran's Day Parade as we honor and celebrate those who have served and those who continue to serve our country. Date: Tuesday, November 12th. Time: 8:30am. Place: House Creek Elementary. Family members can join their student in their classrooms before the parade begins and come down for the parade together. After the parade, please join us in the cafeteria for some music by our House Creek Choir.

Please join us for our Car Seat 101 parent training on November 7, 2024, at 6pm in the House Creek cafeteria. Learn about the laws for transporting a child. Learn what your child needs and how to use it correctly. Learn when to transition to the next phase. Learn who can help you with car seats. Learn about car seats from infants to booster seats.

Monday is a student holiday, staff development day. Please note that all Copperas Cove ISD campuses and offices will be closed for our staff to attend trainings during the day.
All district facilities will re-open Tuesday.

House Creek Families, next week October 28th – November 1st, 2024, will be Red Ribbon Week. The dress up days are Monday - being drug free is no sweat, wear sweats (no pajamas). Tuesday - put a cap on drugs, wear a cap or crazy hat. Wednesday - don't get "roped up" in drugs, wear western wear and boots. Thursday - say boo to drugs, wear your Halloween Costume (no face paint, masks, or weapons). Friday - you won't see me doing drugs, wear your camo, House Creek shirt, or Bulldawg shirt.


The CCISD administration office is hosting a Park & Sell to benefit the United Way of the Greater Tri-County Area NEXT SATURDAY and is still looking for vendors.

Mrs. White's class received cocoa to "cozy up" with a book of their choice. Students demonstrated stamina in reading by reading for fifteen minutes or more with no interruptions and showed understanding by writing key details and their favorite part from the story.

House Creek Elementary recently took its monthly "Woot Woot Wagon" around to give the staff root beer floats to thank them for "keeping us afloat this year."
