Every teacher in Copperas Cove serving Pre-K through 3rd grade students has completed the Texas Reading Academies, gaining valuable training, classroom observations and coaching from highly-qualified educators to ensure the teachers are well-equipped to support our students’ literacy development. Every administrator at a CCISD elementary campus has also completed the Texas Reading Academies, further strengthening our commitment to lead our district to outstanding early literacy achievement. House Creek Families, next week October 28th – November 1st, 2024, will be Red Ribbon Week. The dress up days are Monday - being drug free is no sweat, wear sweats (no pajamas). Tuesday - put a cap on drugs, wear a cap or crazy hat. Wednesday - don't get "roped up" in drugs, wear western wear and boots. Thursday - say boo to drugs, wear your Halloween Costume (no face paint, masks, or weapons). Friday - you won't see me doing drugs, wear your camo, House Creek shirt, or Bulldawg shirt.
